LET THE PARTY BEGIN
Bollywood megastar AMITABH BACHCHAN launched the third season of the reality TV show Bigg Boss on Sunday night in a gala affair and welcomed 13 participants.The show will air in a prime-time slot Monday-Friday but Big B will appear only in the elimination episodes every Saturday and Sunday, communicating with the contestants through a TV screen. Each week, one contestant will be voted out.
THE HAPPY FAMILY
All the contestants sit in the living area on their first evening in the Bigg Boss house. Now the game begins. And so will the fireworks.
The winner will walk away with the grand prize of Rs 1 crore.
SHAMITA SHETTY
Shilpa Shetty, who won international reality show Celebrity Big Brother in 2007, could have given various tips to younger sister Shamita for surviving the Indian version of the show titled Bigg Boss, but all she told her was "be yourself".
JAYA SAWANT
Jaya Sawant, who used to work as a nurse to bring up her kids, was quite an unexpected participant on the show considering her strained ties with daughter Rakhi Sawant, who was part of the show in the first season in 2006.
She recalled how Amitabh Bachchan had given her a Rs 200,000 cheque for her mother's well-being in the 1990s. She said, "For the world you may be a superstar, but for me you are God. You had helped my mother when she was ill and she gave you a lot of blessings."
POONAM DHILLON
Noted Hindi film and television actress Poonam Dhillon recalled how she shot for her first film with Amitabh Bachchan.
RAJU SRIVASTAVA
Stand-up comedian Raju Srivastava began on a funny note and says his only aim is to make the housemates laugh.

Fashion designer Rohit Varma looked stunning in a balck ensemble. He said he was open to doing a fashion show in the Bigg Boss house.

Item girl Sherlyn Chopra ups the oomph factor in the show. She made a smashing entry with a sizzling dance performance.

German super model Claudia Ciesla has been linked with one of Bollywood’s top actors. The lady was recently in the Capital to promote her indian film Karma - Crime, Passion, Reincarnation.

Director Kamaal Khan of Deshdrohi fame said he was delighted to be a part of a show which stars the Big B.

Musi Composor Ismail Darbar is taking one step at a time. Looking relaxed and at ease, he was the first housemate to enter the Bigg Boss house.
ADITI GOVITRIKAR
The former Mrs World, Aditi Govitrikar, entered in a chic black dress. She hugged her 10-year-old daughter goodbye and said she was looking forward to her stay at the Bigg Boss house.
TANAAZ CURRIM IRANI AND BAKHTIYAAR IRANI
The actor-dancer couple has been a hit on many reality shows on TV. A visibly excited Bakhtiyaar said he was elated after meeting the Big B. The duo will also be the first married couple in Bigg Boss.
VINDU DARA SINGH
Vindu Dara Singh has acted in a couple of Bollywood films and television serials. He has also essayed the role of Lord Hanuman in the TV serial Jai Shri Hanuman, much like his father did in Ramayan.
